ADHD Diagnostic & Testing Services
ADHD Diagnostic services via telehealth
-
1. Interview
Step one is the diagnostic interview. This is a full deep dive into your mental health, screening for various mental health conditions. We will discuss symptoms and the impact they have on your life. We will design a treatment plan together to treat depression, anxiety, etc. If ADHD is suspected, we can plan for testing services.
-
2. ADHD Testing
For those who meet diagnostic criteria of ADHD utilizing the DSM-V, diagnostic testing may be considered. While no test can definitively diagnose ADHD, tests of cognitive function combined with the initial interview can help formulate a clinical picture and ultimately lead to a diagnosis. Tests are computer based and can be completed from home.
-
3. Results & Plan
Once testing is completed, we will meet again to discuss the results and formulate a treatment plan. If ADHD is ruled out, this may include treatment of other confounding conditions such as anxiety. If ADHD is ultimately diagnosed, we will discuss a plan to include therapy, skill-building, as well as medication approved to treat ADHD.
-
4. Ongoing Support
Whatever your treatment plan and diagnosis, you can count on ongoing support at Monarch - we will continue to meet and manage your medication moving forward, from the comfort of your own home.
